Vondie Curtis Hall sings LIVE at Smoke Jazz & Supper Club!!

Tonight is the night Ladies and Gentlemen! Come on over to 105th and Broadway and enjoy New Orleans own, the fabulous Antoine Drye on trumpet as he accompanies that actor that’s in EVERYTHING, Mr. Vondie Curtis Hall. You will recognize him from tv & movie classics like Crooklyn, Coming to America, Die Hard, Sugar Hill, and Chicago Hope.
He was a singer/dancer on Broadway in “Lena Horne: The Lady and Her Music” in 1981. A few years later, he appeared in the original cast of “Dreamgirls,” playing the agent role of Marty, which was later played in the 2006 movie adaptation by Danny Glover.
He was classically trained at Juilliard.
He earned an Emmy nomination for his brilliant role as a transsexual who commits suicide on an early episode of “ER.
He studied theater at Richmond College in London, England.
And tonight he brings you beautiful renditions of your favorite tunes as only he can. Also featuring Adam Cotè (bass) and Jeremy Clemons (drums) you don’t want to miss this. See you tonight!
